International Women's Day 2021

For International Women’s Day 2021, we wanted to share artists in history that inspire us. Five Atomhawk artists nominated themselves to each create a portrait, choosing artists who have influenced their personal art journeys or who are important to their cultural heritage. The portraits are: Artemisia Gentileschi by Rachel Saunders, Tamara de Lempicka by Ani Larmina, Naoko Takeuchi by Kasia Slupecka, Frida Kahlo by Ricky Lee and Tove Jansson by Konsta Nikkilä. For social media, we created tarot card styled artwork as if they would be part of a larger deck of important artists in history.
